I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Astronomisches Rechen Institut – Zentrum fur Astronomie of the Heildeberg University.

Recently I’ve been awarded an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship for my research project “The evolution of black holes from stellar to galactic scales”.

My research project aims at unveiling the possible scenarios that govern the formation of black holes, focusing both on those forming from dying stars (called stellar-mass black holes), from stellar collisions (intermediate-mass black holes), and in the centre of galaxies (supermassive black holes).
